SUNDAYS

9:15 AM  Chancel Choir Practice
Our talented choir begins rehearsal on 9:15 AM each Sunday morning for the 11 AM service.  Musical selections include a multitude of classical composers from the Baroque era to modern day composers.  Our choir has recently premiered works in San Francisco by Geoffrey Bush and others.  An open invitation to join our talented choir is extended to you.

10:00 AM  Adult Forum  "God and the World"
Our minister and congregants gather at the Leland Tea Company across the street at 1416 Bush Street.   Topics usually include the lectionary readings, world events and literature.  The event is informal, and open to all!

11:00 AM  Worship
Our Sunday morning worship service is held in our 1300 Polk Street -- our NEW building.  Our style is a style similar to "mainstream" churches such as other Congregational, Methodist, Baptist and Presbyterian churches.  Services include hymn singing, special music, prayers, Bible lessons and sermons.  Our choir is uniquely gifted, and offers a range of religious music formats from around the world that range from baroque to contemporary, and folk to gospel to Hawaiian.  Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month.

12:15 PM  Fellowship/Coffee Hour
Our church members gather for fellowship time after each service.  We particularly invite visitors to stay for coffee, tea and baked goods (often homemade!) and take some time to meet us.
